The Social Counselor will pledge his/her commitment to help the school achieve its mission, goals, and vision; value community; bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to take thoughtful initiative in a collaborative setting. The Social Counselor should be committed to further the intellectual and personal development of students. He/ She provides assistance and advocacy to improve social and psychological functioning of students. Conduct individual and group Counseling sessions e.g. study problems, adjustment, resolving and communication. Maximize each student’s potential through the implementation of a comprehensive program that fosters the competencies leading to lifelong success including personal, social growth, and academic skills. Provide psychological, social and guidance support to students and ensure their psychological and social welfare. Cultivate students’ skills and support and follow-up gifted and talented students by contributing to the setting of individual social and educational care programs. |
