The School Supervisor will pledge his/her commitment to help the school achieve its mission, goals, and vision; value community; bring a spirit of enthusiasm, energy, and willingness to take thoughtful initiative in a collaborative setting. The Supervisor should be committed to further the intellectual and personal development of students. He/ She provides assistance and advocacy to improve social and psychological functioning of students. Maximize each student’s potential through the implementation of a comprehensive program that fosters the competencies leading to lifelong success including personal, social growth, and academic skills. Respect students and treat them in a way that makes them feel secure, develops their personality, gives them value, nurtures their talents, instils the love of knowledge in them, teaches them benevolent behaviour, and reinforces their integrity and self-confidence. Monitor students' attendance accurately and regularly as instructed. Contact parents of absent students to clarify the reason for the absence. Coordinate with the social counsellor to solve student problems including (skipping classes – repetitive absence – failure – leaving classes during a lesson - permissions – to go to the doctor or the supervisors). Solve daily student issues wisely and consult with the school social counsellor. |
