Position Overview
The Art Teacher plays a key role in supporting the school’s mission and fostering student growth. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, collaboration, and a commitment to helping students develop both academically and personally. The teacher is expected to uphold and promote the values of the UAE, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and alignment with the national vision. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the ability to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver balanced, engaging lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in coordination with the SEN team and school leadership.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
• Plan and prepare lessons on Art throughout the year for effective instruction within the classroom
• Provide students the opportunity to work with a variety of materials using different tools and techniques.
• Deliver a consistent Art curriculum and implement a team approach to working with students using real world experiences and technology.
• Set up the Art Room by setting up equipment required for lessons.
• Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum standards and expectations.
• Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and active participation. |
