Position Overview
The Mathematics Teacher plays a key role in supporting the school’s mission and fostering student growth. The teacher is expected to uphold and promote the values of the UAE, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and alignment with the national vision. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the ability to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver balanced, engaging lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in coordination with the SEN team and school leadership.
• Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum standards and expectations.
• Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and active participation.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging mathematics lessons in alignment with the American curriculum.
• Use a variety of mathematical software tools to enhance classroom teaching and improve students’ understanding of concepts.
• Inspire and motivate students by igniting their passion for mathematics and encouraging independent learning. |
