Position Overview
The ICT Teacher plays a key role in supporting the school’s mission and fostering student growth. The ideal candidate brings enthusiasm, collaboration, and a commitment to helping students develop both academically and personally. The teacher is expected to uphold and promote the values of the UAE, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and alignment with the national vision. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the ability to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver balanced, engaging lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in coordination with the SEN team and school leadership.
• Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum standards and expectations.
• Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and active participation.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons that align with American curriculum standards.
• Teach students how to use a variety of software applications, programming languages, digital tools, and coding/programming basics.
• Develop students’ understanding of safe and ethical technology use, including digital citizenship and cybersecurity basics. |
