Position Overview
The Biology Teacher plays a key role in supporting the school’s mission and fostering student growth. The teacher is expected to uphold and promote the values of the UAE, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and alignment with the national vision. This role requires strong subject knowledge, a student-centered approach, and the ability to create meaningful, engaging learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver balanced, engaging lessons that promote inquiry, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Support students’ academic, emotional, and social development in coordination with the SEN team and school leadership.
• Assess and track student progress in alignment with curriculum standards and expectations.
• Maintain a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, respect, and active participation.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance instruction and student learning.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver Biology lessons that meet American curriculum requirements.
• Conduct engaging practical experiments and demonstrations in a safe and controlled lab environment.
• Ensure lab safety, equipment management, and adherence to health and safety protocols.
• Foster curiosity and a deep understanding of Biology concepts and their real-world applications.
• Conduct hands-on experiments and demonstrations to illustrate key Biology concepts in a safe and stimulating lab environment. |
